On July 8, 1971, Evel Knievel jumped over nine cars and a truck at Madison Square Garden. Evel performed four nights. Kelly and Robbie also made their appearances at their Dad's performance. |

| The Cow Palace Jumps, San Francisco, California, March 2 & 3, 1972 | |

| Back in 1970 Evel Knievel jumped 11 cars at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA. Evel came back in 1972 to break his record then set another indoor record at that time. On March 2, Evel successfully cleared 12 cars on his Harley. The next night before a near capacity crowd of 9,000, he attemtped to jump 15 vehicles. Evel race down the ski run to the take-off ramp and flew over the vehicles, but upon landing he lost control and crashed. Fortunately he was alright and only suffered a broken ankle. After the jump Evel addressed the audience and he received a standing ovation. | |
