than 2,000 people turned out at Wagga's Bolton Park to see Lawrence Legend
attempt to clear the line of 15 cars from ramp- to-ramp on a road bike.
Lawrence roars his motorcycle up the launch ramp to attempt to jump the
cars. He flies over 100 feet through the air, only to crash as thousands
of fans look on. Lawrence was 19 when he attempted this jump at an exhibition
in Wagga Wagga, Australia. His jump starts off smoothly but he lands short
of his target. He and his motorcycle somersault onto the ground. When Lawrence
made no attempt to rise, his support crew and ambulance officers rushed
to check for injuries. He was taken to the Wagga Base Hospital and his only
injury was a shattered ankle. |
