March 2, 2010 (Aus)– Congratulations to Seth Enslow for
jumping his Harley-Davidson XR1200 ramp-to-ramp 183.7 ft. This jump
took place in Sydney Australia.

Bob Cook's new site that replaced his "Ultimate Evel Knievel"
site is the best source on the net for Evel Knievel. This is where you
go to exchange ideas and opinions about the "King of the Daredevils" THRILLS
AMERICA — One of the few thrill show museums in the
nation. This museum is located off scenic Highway 218 in historic La
Porte City, Iowa.

Capes broke Jason Rennie's World Record ramp-to-ramp
jump of 253 ft. Ryan went "Evel Knievel" style at Reno's Grand
Sierra Hotel. It was presented by Monster Energy and Livfast. Ryan jumped

Knievel came up short on his jump at the Soaring
Eagle Casino and crashed. Fortunately he was unharmed and was able to
walk away ready to jump another day.
Butte Bound's
Paul Squires has some info for cycle jumping fans. Your
readers may be interested in a feature I have written for a UK Comic
magazine called Crikey! looking at motorcycle daredevils - I think many
will be suprised and interested at how British comics portrayed daredevils
during the late 1970's and early 1980's. The five page feature traces
the history and main characters in the comics. It's in the June 2009
issue, (Issue 10) and people can order a copy here
(or email them for overseas subs details.)
May 30, 2009 – Flyin
Ryan attempted an assault on the world record
flat landing jump. The record is currently held by Eddie Kidd at 194ft.
The record attempt took place at the historic venue of Donnington Park,
motor racing circuit. Flyin Ryan was only able to reach 142 ft, but
vows to try it again.
Its been almost 5 years since his last record attempt at Donnington
Park, where he tried to break the longest jump ever on a motorcycle.
As you know that attempt ended badly, with a huge crash and two broken
ankles and a broken jaw.
He will be jumping off a 10ft high ramp and landing on a flat field,
so no landing ramps to hit. He will be using a 2008 CRF450, and hopes
to build up to the distance, rather than just going for it first time

Defying
Gravity, The Dale Buggins Story by Damian Kringas. The life of

Ed
Beckley is back in the jumping game! Ed is currrently training
for his comeback this year. He's been working with a personal trainer
and is in the best of shape he's been in years! Ed has access to two
Harley Sportster motors and will then take some dirt bike chassis' and
mount those harley's in them and launch the things this Winter at his
Indoor Monster Truck Shows.
It was 25 years ago that Chris
Bromham jumped his motorcycle over 18 double-decker buses. Here's
a

Summer 2009 – Robbie Knievel
is planning on jumping at the new Wembley Stadium in London. RK recently
stated in Wisconsin that he wants to jump possibly 16 buses on a Harley-Davidson
XR-750.
On
March 29, 2008 – Robbie Maddison jumped an
incredible 351 ft in Australia. Which has now been broken by Ryan Capes
with a jump of 390 ft 4 inches.

is available again online. Originally released in 2003. Butte Bound
is a unique experience that will thrill stunt fans worldwide. Consisting
of two documentaries, it shows amazing footage of the first two years
at the Evel Knievel festival in Butte, Montana.
